'Jingle Jetpack' Game - Winners & Charities Announced
Posted on in Company News

Following the fantastic response and engagement to our ‘Rhodar’s Jingle Jetpack’ online game, we wanted to say a big thank you to the hundreds of people who played last month.
All players who registered their qualifying scores were entered into a prize draw for a combination of charity donations totalling £1,100…and we are now pleased to announce our three winners and their chosen charities:
1st prize winner – Lee Harrison
2nd prize winner – Simon Adamson
3rd prize winner – Anthony McCormick
We contacted each of our winners to discover more about their selected charities and gathered the below details:

Lee wishes to send his donation of £500 to Claire House Children’s Hospice.
Claire House Children’s Hospice provides specialist nursing and end of life care for seriously and terminally ill children across the Northwest. The team provides emotional support for families undergoing some of the toughest times of their lives, along with care services that support children and families in a number of ways based on the individual family’s needs, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Lee commented: “Whilst we have been lucky enough to not require (Claire House Children’s Hospice’s) services, I have seen firsthand the excellent support and care that the staff provide to families of young children.”

Simon has selected Andy’s Man Club to receive his donation of £350.
We reached out to Simon to find out more about his nomination: “My six years of experience in the mental health sector have highlighted the essential role charities play in facilitating access to mental health services. Men often struggle to express their feelings, whether with partners, family, friends, or professionals. Andy's Man Club addresses this by providing free, peer-to-peer support groups for men aged 18 and over. These groups offer a safe, non-judgmental space for open discussions about mental health. The club's mission is to end the stigma around mental health and reduce male suicide through conversation, with weekly in-person and online sessions across the UK.
In 2024, there were 7,147 recorded deaths by suicide, with males accounting for approximately three-quarters of these cases—equivalent to 17 lives lost each day. Andy's Man Club's work is vital in offering the support and outlet men need to discuss their struggles and seek help, ultimately aiming to prevent such tragic outcomes."

Anthony would like to send his donation of £250 to Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
When asked why this charity means so much to Anthony, he explained: "I would like to nominate Alder Hey Children’s Charity for a donation based on my own personal experience of the outstanding care they provide.
My youngest child was admitted with RSV, and my niece, who was only one month old at the time, required intensive care in ICU with the same illness. On both occasions, the care, compassion, and professionalism shown by the staff were exceptional from start to finish.
Alder Hey is a true credit to children’s healthcare in our city, and I will always be grateful for the support they gave my family during such a difficult time."
Congratulations to our three winners, Lee, Simon and Anthony! We’re delighted that these incredible charities will benefit from our festive initiative.

In addition, we just had to make reference to our highest scorer this year, Jordan Appleby (AGAIN), who achieved a final tally of 314 presents delivered … for those who played the game, you’ll know what an amazing achievement this is!
