Rhodar launches tablet technology

Tablet technology and smartphones have been rolled out to all supervisors within Rhodar to streamline site operations. They are delivering fingertip access to site documentation, including electronic site diaries, e-forms, timesheets and site capture forms, and can receive any necessary updates in real-time.
A Training ‘App’ has also been introduced enabling site supervisors to check the competency of an operative quickly and easily.
Another development, which aids efficiency, is the implementation of an Auditing App. Previously, audits were handwritten and then returned to the Health & Safety team for approval. Utilising the new Audit App, audits can be completed in real-time, and, on completion, sent automatically to the Health & Safety team. This provides real-time visibility of site conditions, and allows us to make any necessary amendments to the works immediately – a proactive rather than reactive approach to Health & Safety.
