Rhodar has successfully completed the controlled deconstruction of the 10-storey Darwin Tower on The University of Edinburgh’s King’s Buildings campus.
Delivered within a live academic environment, the project utilised a carefully engineered, top-down dismantling approach to minimise noise, vibration and dust, while safeguarding neighbouring occupied buildings and ongoing university operations.
The full lifecycle of this complex deconstruction, including the social value initiatives delivered in support of the local community, is showcased in our latest project video.
