Domestic and Insurance

Domestic insurance providers and Housing Associations are two key client categories within this sector. We are experienced at dealing with these two distinct domestic areas to deliver unrivalled service.

We understand your responsibilities

Working with a domestic customer in their home requires a specific skillset and a different way of working to the way we operate with our industrial clients. With this in mind we have a specialist division in place to service domestic and insurance clients throughout the UK – Rhodar Homeworks.

We work closely with housing associations on projects including property that requires a priority turnaround for re-occupation (voids). Our dedicated teams are specially trained to interact with vulnerable tenants and provide a personable, informed service to customers who are not familiar with asbestos. When working with UK insurance companies and loss adjusters, we also provide surveys where necessary. These projects are highly KPI and SLA driven, requiring central coordination and full information reporting. This is where our fully networked system of web-enabled job tracking comes into its own.

The nature of our domestic and insurance work has necessitated the development of specialist equipment, such as our all-in-one welfare hygiene unit incorporating equipment and asbestos waste transport. For more unexpected, exceptional situations we have surge management plans in place to ensure we have the capacity to cope with sudden, increased demand following natural emergencies, like severe winter weather and flooding.
