At Rhodar, we’re proud to employ some of the best and most experienced people in the UK enabling works industry. With over 500 directly-employed staff across 14 UK facilities, our teams approach every task with the same level of commitment, enthusiasm and expertise to deliver a first class, quality service, on time and on budget.

For example: We’ve got the largest directly-employed team of asbestos operatives of any company in the UK. This means we can be sure our quality remains unwavering.

Management Team

Combining many years of collective industry and project delivery experience, our management team have been part of Rhodar for years. Not only does this enable us to forge strong, lasting and trusted relationships with clients, it also enables us to understand your requirements quicker and to offer you unrivalled quality of service and continuity of knowledge, from one project to the next.

Board of Directors

Jason Davy

Jason has over 25 years’ experience in the asbestos industry, progressing through a structured career development plan, becoming Operations Director of Rhodar in 1995, and then Managing Director in 1999. Jason is also CEO of Lexia Solutions Group.

Currently sitting on the ARCA committee (having previously been Chairman) he has been the driving force behind Rhodar’s significant growth. He is also seen as one of the leading figures within the asbestos removal industry, helping to drive forward the sector’s image, safety standards and professional standing.

Dave Hart

Dave is Rhodar’s Contracts Director and has 35 years’ experience within the asbestos industry. Joining Rhodar in 1980 as an asbestos removal operative, he was promoted to Humberside Regional Manager in 1987, and made a Director of the company in 2000.

Dave has been responsible for delivering some of Rhodar’s largest projects to date. His specialism is fast-track abatement work and technically challenging projects within the chemical & allied heavy industries. Most of Rhodar’s international projects are also supervised and coordinated by Dave.

Darren Payne

Darren is Rhodar’s Director of Client Services with a national remit to oversee the company’s business development strategy. With over 20 years of experience within the industry Darren joined Rhodar as Commercial Manager in 2000.

He combines a strong technical knowledge with a commercial focus and has been a keynote speaker, representing Rhodar and the wider Lexia Solutions Group at a range of industry, client and HSE-related events and conferences.

Tony Conway

Tony is Rhodar’s Scotland Regional Director, and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Scotland office, based in Glasgow.

Tony joined Rhodar in 1985 as an Asbestos Removal Operative and was promoted to Site Supervisor two years later. In 1998 he was promoted to Site Safety Auditor and was one of only a select few to hold this position in the industry at that time. In 2001 Tony was promoted to Contracts Manager and then Regional Manager in 2004 for the newly acquired Scottish offices which opened 2006. Throughout his 33 year career Tony has therefore worked at all levels and on some of the company’s most prestigious contracts including the Scotland Excel framework.

Jason Ellis

Jason is Rhodar’s Southern Regional Director. He has over 25 years’ experience within the asbestos industry,

Jason joined Rhodar in 2007 as Senior Projects Manager specialising in the Retail Environment. He then progressed to his current position as Director for the Southern Region in 2010. In addition to his Retail specialism, Jason has also helped to secure a string of transport-related clients including Heathrow Airport Limited, Transport for London and London Underground, along with numerous University and Facility Management contracts across the South East Region.

Pete Humphries

Rhodar’s Midlands & South West Regional Director, Pete has 30 years’ experience working at all levels within the asbestos removal industry, from operative to MD level, both in the UK & abroad.

Pete joined the business in 2008 as a Director and has delivered and manages a wide portfolio of blue chip clients in his region. He has enjoyed particular success within the Education, Health and Utilities sectors, and managing major projects for leading Universities, NHS Trusts and water/power companies.

Mike Woods

North West Regional Director; Mike joined the Rhodar board in 2018 having been in the asbestos associated industry for over 25 years.

Mike brings with him experience of not only asbestos removal but also access and thermal insulation disciplines having worked extensively within the power generation, Petrochemical and Nuclear industries. Mike progressed from the position of Apprentice Thermal Insulation Engineer through Supervision and Contract Management to his previous position as General Manager of one of the world’s largest Industrial services providers.

Andy Fisk

With over 30 years of experience in the sector Andy is Director of Rhodar’s Demolition Division, overseeing a national delivery remit.

Having started his career as an Operations Manager Andy has earned a reputation for designing innovative methodologies for delivering complex and technical demolition projects safely and on programme.

Andy has particular experience in delivering top down demolition and dismantling solutions within busy city centre locations which minimise disruption to local businesses, residents and the public.

John Davies

Having over 20 years of brownfield experience John is Director for Rhodar’s remediation service division with responsibility for delivery of a diverse portfolio of remediation and enabling works projects across the United Kingdom.

 With an unrivalled depth of technical knowledge in the assessment and treatment of contaminated land, John has a thorough understanding of supply chain responsibilities and client expectations during delivery of complex turn-key decommissioning and remediation projects.  John sits on the Board of the Brownfield Research and Innovation Centre at the University of Wolverhampton.
