RHODAR CELEBRATES 18 YEARS TACKLING ASBESTOS IN HULL

Hull Kingston Rovers players Jim Gannon and Danny Ward, took a break from training today to help local asbestos removal company, Rhodar, celebrate its landmark 18th birthday.

The Rovers stars kicked off the party in style by delivering a giant celebratory cake to staff at the Subway Street office.

Since Rhodar opened in 1989 the Hull office, headed up by regional manager Dave Hart, has grown to become the second largest in the Rhodar network, with a turnover of £5 million and over 40 specialist staff carrying out asbestos removal projects for key clients including: East Riding Council, Hull University, Castle Hill Hospital and Hull City Council.

Dave Hart, contracts director at Rhodar, based in Hull, regional manager said: “Today is a significant milestone in Rhodar Hull’s growth and development. It is thanks to the hard work, skill and expertise of our staff here that the last 18 years have been as successful as they have. Here’s to the next 18.”
