Thermac (Hire) Ltd Secures Investor in People Status

Leeds-based Thermac (Hire) Ltd, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of equipment and consumables to the asbestos and construction industry, has secured Investor in People (IiP) accreditation for the first time.

IiP specialists visited Thermac’s offices in Leeds and Glasgow to interview directors, management and operational staff and concluded that ‘Thermac has embraced the principles of Investor in Principle and used the standard to help take the business forward and achieve sales growth’.

Commenting on its success, Thermac (Hire) Ltd’s managing director, Neil Greenbank said: “We first set our sights on achieving IiP accreditation back in 2008 and everyone has worked together to ensure we embrace teamwork, communication and training to create an environment in which everyone is respected and valued. This has been reflected in our improved levels of customer service and our continued success in recent years, despite the tough economic conditions.

“Much of what we have done is being replicated within the Lexia Solutions Group,” added Neil. “Our ambition is to achieve the IiP accreditation across the group within the next couple of years and our success at Thermac is a great foundation on which we will build.”
