OPERATIVES
We have an ongoing need for experienced asbestos removal operatives.
Applicants should have a minimum of three years experience in the industry and hold :-
Whilst we attempt to work close to the home office as far as possible, applicants must be prepared to travel and work away from home on occasions. Weekend and overnight work is sometimes required and attracts enhanced rates.
All clothing and equipment is provided.
SUPERVISORS
Supervisors lead a team of operatives on site.
They are responsible for ensuring that jobs are completed safely, on time and to the customers complete satisfaction. Our supervisors work closely with the HSE, independent analysts and our own Health and Safety staff to ensure all compliance requirements are fully met.
Applicants must meet the same standards as those outlined above for Operatives. Additionally they should have demonstrable people management skills and be familiar with the relevant HSE legislation for the asbestos industry.
CONTRACT MANAGERS
Our Contract Managers have a key role in developing and growing our business.
Responding to customer enquiries, or leads developed by our sales and marketing team, their role is to visit customer sites and estimate the cost of completing the work required. They are responsible for preparing work specifications, pricing proposals for the client, and managing these through to conclusion
Applicants should have experience in the asbestos removal industry, combined with a successful track record of working with customers to prepare work specification proposals and associated pricing. All specifications must comply with HSE requirements.
Applicants must hold a clean driving license and be prepared to travel. Good interpersonal skills are required and the flexibility to work with a wide range of clients from individuals to public authorities and large corporates. Evidence of the ability to close business is essential.

PROJECT MANAGERS
Many of our projects are quite large in scale and can take many weeks, or even months,to complete.
Frequently our work forms part of a much larger project such as major refurbishments of hospitals or office blocks. This entails working closely with other major and minor subcontractors in order to ensure a fully integrated approach to the project.
Our Project Managers are responsible for managing projects through to a successful conclusion. They work closely, internally, with Contract Managers, Health and Safety and Supervisors to ensure the company maintains an integrated approach
Applicants should have extensive project management experience, ideally gained in the asbestos or construction industry. Familiarity with HSE asbestos regulations, established project management methodologies ( e.g. Prince2 ) and working as part of a large multidisciplinary project team on major projects would be advantageous. Good interpersonal skills are essential.
